JOEL FISHMAN
Dr. Joel Fishman has a Ph.D. degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and M.L.S. degree from Queens College
(CUNY). He has been a law librarian for more than 50 years serving almost forty years at Allegheny County Law Library of
which 17 years was at Kline Law School Ken Gormley Library.
He is currently the Law Library Faculty Fellow at the Kline Law School and the Co-Director of the Pennsylvania Constitution
Website. He has published more than 500 books, articles, chapters, book reviews, blogs & web projects. He is a Consulting
Historian to the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania Historical Commission and Research Consultant to the Pennsylvania
Commission for Fairness & Justice.
